What is new
Server-rendered surah pages so every ayah is searchable, hardened security (encrypted backups disabled, network-security config, tighter notification payload), new PWA logo, in-app update banner now remembers when you dismiss a version, Apple Sign In sync, quieter notification permissions.
How to install
- Tap the Download APK button above. Your browser saves
qaari.apkto Downloads. - Open the file. Android may ask you to allow installs from your browser the first time — tap Settings, allow, then come back.
- Install and open Qaari. Grant the prayer-alert permission when asked. That is the only prompt.

- Offline prayer times computed on-device using the adhan library, accurate to the second
- Quiet adhan alerts via Android scheduled local notifications, no internet required

Updates
Once installed, the app checks qaari.org/version.json at launch and on Wi-Fi reconnect. If a newer build is available, a small banner appears with the release notes and a single tap to update. No push spam, no upgrade nags, no telemetry. You can dismiss the banner for the current version and never see it again.
